Many of you don't know that I'm actually from Bacolod City but we relocated due to my father's job at the time so we ended up in Tacloban where I spent most of my life growing up in that very simple and humbling city.
When we transferred in Tacloban, I was 3 at the time... Not really sure but definitely a little kid. So, I had to learn the dialect Waray-waray since Ilongga man gid ko. Hahaha. Took a while for me to master the intonation and the right sentences to construct but my hardwork pulled through.
Many of you might also not know that I was there during the onslaught Typhoon Haiyan hit the islands of Leyte and Samar. I never expected things to happen so fast: we just arrived from Cebu, bought a lot of stuff like shoes, clothes, etc. and in an instant, in just one snap... Eveything can disappear JUST. LIKE. THAT.
My family plans to have a small thanksgiving to celebrate the life God blessed me and my family. Thank you for the gift of life. Thank you for sparing our lives, Father.
Thank you Lord. :")
